Chautauqua Lake Snowmobile Services have just joined forces with The Throttle Shop Racing Team in Jamestown, NY to help sponsor local racers Taylor Anderson and Andrew Faulkner. They are competing in the East Coast Snocross (ECS) Series.
Taylor AndersonTaylor Anderson, a 14-year-old Local Chautauqua County native has been racing the Snocross (SnoX) series for four years. Last season, she completed a championship season during which she received the Rising Star award, and won the Junior 10-13, Stock 600cc fan-cooled class championship. 2012 brings with it a new level of competition too -- Taylor is now competing with a large pool of talented peers in the Women Sport 600 class.
She is competing SnoX aboard a 2011 IQR600 factory race sled that is race prepped by her primary sponsor, Team Southside Sales and Service, based out of North Adams, Massachusetts.
Andrew Faulkner is a 19 year old Florida native who is now a Chautauqua local. He has been racing the Snocross (SnoX) for five years. Andrew got his start in Motocross racing and has been racing dirt bikes for 10 years now. Andrew is racing two classes this season Sport and Super Sport. He is looking to improve his results this season. Andrew is abroad a 2011 Polaris IQR600 factory race sled. He is looking to be on top of the podium this racing season in both classes.
The race season is a 10 race series, taking place on various courses located between Western New York and the Eastern tip of Maine. The last weekend of March every year welcomes the ECS to Peek-n-Peak ski resort in Findley Lake, NY.
